What Actually Happened

The spontaneous moment began when V entered the stage and enthusiastically suggested performing “Spring Day”—catching both Jin and Jimin completely off-guard. As the chorus began, V confidently started his part before suddenly blanking on the words. In a moment of pure, unfiltered authenticity, he sprinted to the side of the stage to read the displayed text, quickly memorized his lines, and returned to complete the performance. The whole sequence perfectly captured BTS’ trademark blend of professionalism and playful chaos.

Before this, V performed his solo track “Love Me Again,” while Jimin joined Jin during “Running Wild.” The trio also delivered energetic performances of “So What,” “Idol,” and “My Universe”—creating a mini-BTS reunion that ARMY had desperately missed.

ARMY’s Hilarious Reactions

Fans flooded social media with amused responses celebrating the authentic moment:

The Chaos Appreciation: “BRUH TAEHYUNG FORGETTING SPRING DAY LYRICS RANDOMLY IN THE MIDDLE IS STILL FRYING ME SO BAD LIKE THEY ARE SO UNSERIOUS I LOVE MY BANGTAN,” wrote one ecstatic fan.

The Unpredictability Factor: “That one ARMY who said, ‘No one knows what Jin’s next move is, NOT EVEN HIM’ is proven once again,” another fan observed. The completely unrehearsed decision to sing “Spring Day” on the spot demonstrated Jin’s legendary spontaneity.

The Nostalgia Factor: “Hahaha this just proves they did not rehearse this. Jimin and Tae really just joined for nostalgia, for Jin’s sake and for giggles OMG,” noted a fan appreciating the pure joy behind the performance.

The Slaying Despite Chaos: “The sheer chaotic energy of Taehyung forgetting ‘Spring Day’ and having a quick read is everything. Still slaying the vocals tho, what a legend.”
