AMD has already launched the Ryzen 5000 series mobile processors for CES 2021; more OEMs will be adopting these new APUs into their systems. HP has been a good partner with AMD and integrated many laptops, especially their ProBook & EliteBook series with Ryzen APUs.
To continue the momentum, HP seems to be relying on AMD once again, and the Ryzen 5000 APUs will power the 2021 model of HP EliteBook 845 G8 notebook and up to the AMD Ryzen 7 5850U with 8 cores, 16 threads along with up to 4.4 GHz burst frequency.
The laptop has been spotted running on userbenchmark and the performance of it is indeed impressive, the laptop provides you the option of up to 32 GB DDR4 3200 SDRAM. It features a 14-inch FHD anti-glare display with thin bezels and comes with 400 nits of brightness & covers 100% sRGB color gamut.
The integrated Radeon graphics inside the laptop gives you support 4K displays at 60 Hz while you can store all necessary things with up to 1 TB PCIe NVMe M.2 TLC SSD.
As you see the APU has an overall good performance both in terms of CPU and the integrated Vega graphics. From the HP page, it is evident that soon the HP EliteBook 845 G8 notebook will be coming to market depending upon AMD’s stocks.
