Genshin Impact‘s latest game mode, Miliastra Wonderland, introduces a refreshing gacha system called “Odes” that lets players collect exclusive cosmetics and items for their custom avatars. With version Luna II launching on October 22, understanding this new system is crucial for maximizing your pulls and getting the cosmetics you want.

What is the Genshin Impact Miliastra Wonderland Odes System?

The Odes system functions similarly to the traditional Wish feature in Teyvat, but exclusively for Miliastra Wonderland cosmetics. Players can pull for Sets, Cosmetic Catalogs, Interactive Actions, and Expressions for their Manekin (male) or Manekina (female) avatars using special currencies.

Odes Quick Reference Table

Feature	Standard Ode	Event Ode
Currency	Geodes of Replication	Arcane Keystones
5-Star Guarantee	Not available	70 pulls
4-Star Guarantee	70 pulls	10 pulls
3-Star Guarantee	5 pulls	N/A
Pity System	Independent	Shared across Event Odes
Duplicate Conversion	Lustrous Materials	Engraved/Radiant Shards

How Standard and Event Odes Work

Standard Ode operates as your permanent cosmetic pool. Using Geodes of Replication (similar to Acquaint Fates), you’re guaranteed an Elite 4-star item within 70 pulls and an Exceptional 3-star item every 5 pulls. The system prioritizes items you haven’t obtained yet, reducing duplicate frustration.

Event Ode features limited-time rotating cosmetics using Arcane Keystones (like Intertwined Fates). Here’s where strategy matters: Legendary 5-star items are guaranteed within 70 pulls, with 4-star Elite items every 10 pulls. The game-changer? Event Ode pity carries over between limited banners, letting you build toward your favorite cosmetics across multiple updates.

Revolutionary Features That Change Everything

Gift Pulls to Friends

Once you reach Level 10 and Rapport Level 3, you can gift Event Ode pulls directly to friends using your Arcane Keystones. Each friend maintains their own separate pity counter, so your generosity doesn’t impact your personal progress—a genuinely thoughtful social feature.

Smart Duplicate System

Duplicates automatically convert into crafting materials: Lustrous Materials for Standard Odes, and Engraved or Radiant Shards for Event Odes. These materials let you craft alternate cosmetic versions, similar to how Stardust and Starglitter work in the main game.

Miliastra Shop and Premium Currency

The Miliastra Shop introduces Chronal Nexus, a premium currency separate from Genesis Crystals. Use it to purchase exclusive 4-star cosmetics or exchange for Arcane Keystones. This gives free-to-play players alternative paths to limited cosmetics without spending real money.

Strategic Tips for Maximizing Your Pulls

Plan Your Currency Spending: Save Arcane Keystones for Event Odes featuring cosmetics you absolutely want. Standard Odes will always be available.

Utilize Pity Carryover: Since Event Ode pity transfers between banners, you’re never wasting progress even if you don’t get what you want immediately.

Convert Duplicates Wisely: Don’t ignore those crafting materials—they unlock alternate versions that might be even better than the originals.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does my Standard Ode pity affect my Event Ode pity?

No, Standard and Event Odes maintain completely separate pity systems. However, all Event Odes share one combined pity counter that carries over between limited banners.

Q: Can I use Genesis Crystals to purchase Chronal Nexus?

Chronal Nexus is a separate premium currency specifically for Miliastra Wonderland. While the exact purchase methods haven’t been fully detailed, it appears to function independently from Teyvat’s Genesis Crystal system, giving players dedicated cosmetic progression.
