This makes EM and Energy Recharge her top stat priorities.

Best-in-Slot: Favonius Greatsword

Favonius Greatsword takes the crown as Aino’s best weapon, providing Energy Recharge plus team-wide colorless particle generation that ensures consistent Elemental Burst uptime. This weapon perfectly complements Aino’s support role, making her energy requirements manageable while benefiting the entire team.

Key Benefits:

Energy Recharge substat: Ensures 100% burst uptime
Particle generation: Supports team energy needs
Universal utility: Works in any team composition
High availability: Obtainable through wishes and starglitter shop

Premium Alternative: Flame-Forged Insight

Flame-Forged Insight provides 285 Elemental Mastery and restores 24 flat Energy each rotation, making Aino’s Burst extremely easy to maintain while maximizing her reaction damage. Unfortunately, this event weapon has limited availability.

This weapon excels when Aino triggers reactions frequently, making it ideal for Hyperbloom, Bloom, and Vaporize teams where her teams typically trigger the reactions mentioned in its passive, creating perfect synergy with her kit design.

Craftable Option: Master Key

Master Key Nod-Krai craftable Claymore becomes Aino’s top pick when focusing purely on damage output without considering team utility. This weapon offers solid Elemental Mastery scaling and can be crafted using Nod-Krai materials.

Perfect for:

Players prioritizing personal damage
F2P-friendly option with guaranteed access
Teams with sufficient energy generation from other sources

Budget-Friendly Alternatives

Sacrificial Greatsword: Provides skill reset potential and Energy Recharge, though less reliable than Favonius for particle generation.

Rainslasher: Offers Elemental Mastery and damage bonuses against Electro-affected enemies, making it situationally strong in Electro-Charged teams.

Team Synergy Considerations

Aino shines in reaction-based teams like Hyperbloom with Nahida/Lauma + Fischl/Raiden, where her continuous Hydro application and EM buffs maximize team damage potential. Her weapon choice should complement these team dynamics.
