8-core Tiger Lake-H processor powered laptops finally hit the market

According to the latest sources, the highly anticipated latest Intel Tiger Lake-H mobile processors are finally making their way to laptops and are now reportedly available for pre-orders. For now, we have players like Stealth from Razer and Raider from MSI available on platforms like XoticPC, ExcaliberPC, and ShopBLT.

Speaking of MSI, who is a strong advocate of Intel’s latest-gen CPUs, its GE76 Raider, features an 8-core, 16-thread Intel Tiger Lake-H Core i9-11980HK processor and the SKU is the only unlocked 8-core processor available in the lineup. The i9-11980HK clocks at 2.6 GHz for the base and has a boost clock up to 5.0 GHz with a 65W TDP.

According to sources, the high-end model of the GE76 Raider will cost up to $3,299. The ExcaliberPC listing also features a more affordable option at $2,499 with the locked Core i7-11800H and an RTX 3070 Max-P GPU.

Coming to Razer’s Stealth series laptop, the GS76 Stealth and GS66 Stealth feature the Intel Tiger Lake-H Core i9-11900H but also have variants that are available with the 8-core Core i7-11800H. The Stealth models from Razer, feature up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM and up to a 1TB NVMe SSD. On XoticPC, all Stealth series models feature the RTX 3080 Max-P, and the displays vary from a 300Hz, 17.3-inch display down to a 240Hz, 15.6-inch display. The series has a price tag from $2,799 and up to $3,099.

However, all the laptops are for now only available for Pre-orders and it seems that other OEMs will soon be adopting the Tiger Lake-H mobile platforms for their flagship segment by mid-half of this year.
