7 Manchester United legends to travel to India for an exciting programme finale

Seven Manchester United legends will be travelling to India as part of the United We Play initiative, launched by Apollo Tyres. The finale will be held on April 23 and 24, 2022.

Peter Schmeichel, Nemanja Vidic, Mikael Silvestre, Louis Saha, Quinton Fortune, Wes Brown and Ronny Johnsen will be making their way to the country and taking part in the second season of the United We Play initiative. Apollo Tyres started this journey to help Indian talent earn a platform to showcase their skills across the country.

The seven legends will be a part of several activities that will be held at the finale this year. The launch of the second season featured Dimitar Berbatov speaking about the importance of grassroot development, and the encouragement needed for young footballers to participate in sports.

The event in Chennai will end with five players being shortlisted from United We Play. They will be rewarded with a travel package to Old Trafford, where they will be a part of the matchday experience. The players will also be able to train at Manchester United Soccer School and interact with other legends of the game.

In the lead up to the event, Apollo Tyres will be conducting several contests on social media. The winners will be rewarded with the opportunity to meet and interact with the legends that come to India over the next weekend.
