Top 5 players with the highest total transfer fees

5. Coutinho, Griezmann, Mbappe – €180 million

Kylian Mbappe has only had one €180 million move in his career from Monaco to PSG. Philippe Coutinho, on the other hand, has played for Liverpool, Barcelona and Aston Villa all of whom signed him for a decent fee to say the least. Antoine Griezmann made a big €120 million move to Barcelona, which shot up his total transfer fee.

Fans have a lot to say about Alvaro Morata and his performance in front of goal. However, he has played for some of the biggest clubs in the world, most of whom paid a decent transfer fee to sign him.

3. Cristiano Ronaldo – €247 million

Ronaldo was once the record signing in the world when he moved from Man Utd to Real Madrid in 2009. After spending nine years with them, he moved to Juventus for €106 million before returning to Manchester United. He then joined Al-Nassr on a free transfer.

2. Neymar – €310 million

Neymar is still the world record holder for the most expensive signing of all-time, following his €222 million move from Barcelona to PSG. He has signed a new contract, but has been unable to be the star player that he was thought of when he was at Barcelona.

1. Romelu Lukaku – €333 million

Romelu Lukaku tops the list of players with the highest total transfer fees. He left Manchester United for Inter Milan for a big sum, before coming back to Chelsea as their club record signing. But now, he has been loaned back to Inter with his future up in the air.
