Sachin Tendulkar who has been given the title of “God of Cricket” had the highest number of international centuries. Before 2013, he hit 100 centuries in the game. Virat Kohli is the second, with 72 tons, and Ricky Ponting at the third spot with 71.

1. Virat Kohli- 72

Kohli is considered to be one of the greatest batters of all time. He has 27 centuries in Test cricket, 44 in ODI, and 1 in T20Is till December 2022. He made his debut against West Indies in 2011 and smashed his first hundred during the Australian tour in 2012. In 2018 three scored the most number of centuries, which is 11. He had a century drought for almost three years which he broke against Afghanistan in Asia Cup 2022 as he scored his first T20I ton. His last century came against Bangladesh on 10th December 2022.

2. David Warner- 45

Australian cricketer David Warner has 45 hundred altogether, 25 in tests, 19 in ODIs, and 1 in T20Is. He made his international debut in 2011 against December and scored his first ton in the second match of the series. In his 100th Test match, he scored an unbeaten 200 off 254 balls at a strike rate of 78.74. In a test match, his highest score was 335 which came against Pakistan at Adelaide.

3. Joe Root- 44

English cricketer Joe Root player who was 121 Tests and 152 ODIs. He mustered 28 centuries in tests and 16 in ODI. He made his Test debut in December 20212 and amassed 104 runs against New Zealand the next year. His highest was 254 which came against Pakistan in Test. He’s often considered to be underrated by the media.

4. Steve Smith- 41

Former Australian skipper Steve Smith has scored 29 Test centuries and 12 ODI tons. In Test, his batting average has been 62.84 which has been the third-highest in Test history. His first century came in the fifth match of the 2013 Ashes series. He amassed an unbeaten 138 and his highest score was 239 runs during the 2017-18 Ashes series. His last ton was against India in January 2021.

5. Rohit Sharma- 41

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is the fifth on the list with the same number of centuries as Steve Smith. He has 29 tons in ODIs, 8 in Tests, and 4 in T20Is. He has the highest number of T20I centuries at the moment. He smashed his first hundred against Zimbabwe in 2010 and his last one came in 2021 against England at the Oval.
