The draw for the last eight is set to take place later today, confirming the fixtures for the quarter finals and the next round.
22/23 Europa League quarter finals: Confirmed teams for the draw
Here are the eight teams that have made it through to the Europa League quarter finals this year:
- Juventus
- Manchester United
- Sevilla
- Union Saint-Gilloise
- Roma
- Bayer Leverkusen
- Sporting CP
- Feyenoord
There are no restrictions as to who can face whom at this point. Any teams, even from the same country or same Europa League group, can face each other starting from the quarter finals. The Europa League quarter final fixtures will take place on 13 and 20 April.
Manchester United and Juventus will be considered two of the favourites to win the competition at this stage. But, there is a chance United and Juventus could also face each other in the last eight to shake things up.
On the other hand, record holders Sevilla can also pull off another upset on the back of a disappointing domestic season. Jose Mourinho’s Roma also have a good chance at making it two European titles in a row if they can win the Europa League to add to last season’s Europa Conference League.
