2025 Hyundai Palisade Unveiled with New Design

The 2025 Palisade SUV has been officially introduced in Hyundai‘s South Korean home market, with global models expected in the coming months. Exterior and interior updates as well as a new hybrid engine option, marking the first hybrid offering for the model, highlight this revamped offering.

2025 Hyundai Palisade Unveiled: New Design, Features, and Hybrid Engine Options

The Palisade is a full-sized SUV that was first launched for the 2019 model year and last updated for 2020. However, this new generation model is scheduled to enter production later this month and make its global debut in early 2025. The SUV will be 4,995mm long, 1,975mm wide, and 1,750mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,900mm. It will have a wonderful boot space, with the second and third-row seats down, it expands to 1,297 liters of space built over the same platform as the Kia Telluride.

Available exterior colors on the 2025 Palisade include premium shades like Ecotronic Grey Pearl, Cast Iron Brown Pearl, Galaxy Maroon Pearl, and Crazy Blue Pearl for the first time. It has big LED headlights, huge roof rails, reduced overhangs, and bold 21-inch alloy wheels. Inspired by the Kia Telluride, the new Palisade offers a spacious interior in both 7- and 8-seat configurations (9-seat in Korea). Soft materials line the cabin, an optional 12.3-inch infotainment screen, and a 12.3-inch instrument cluster.

Other features of the SUV include wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a Harman Kardon sound system with 12 speakers, wireless phone charging, and 100-watt USB-B charging ports. Offered in black, grey, brown, navy blue, or dark grey finishes, the color options for the cabin will carry through the coloring of the exterior. Heated and ventilated front seats, padded seating, and a whole slew of safety features help make things comfortable.

The 2025 Hyundai Palisade will be powered by three engines: 3.5-liter petrol, 2.5-liter turbo-petrol, and 2.5-liter turbo-petrol hybrid. Diesel variants will not be available. The new Theta 3 hybrid powertrain can be said to meet the increasing global demand for petrol-hybrid engines. The 2025 Palisade will be available in seven trims: SE, SEL, XRT, SEL Premium, Palisade Limited, and Calligraphy Night. It will compete against rivals such as the Kia Telluride and the new Toyota Grand Highlander. However, similar to its predecessor, the 2025 Palisade is not expected to launch in India.
