2025 Honda City Facelift: Enhanced Features and Refined Design Set to Launch in Brazil

Out front, the updated 2025 City Sedan gets a new grille with horizontal elements, with the upper chrome strip now offering a slimmer appearance. The rear bumper has also been revised, with horizontal reflective pieces giving the car a more upscale look overall. The Sedan is 25 mm longer than before. The 2025 City Hatchback receives the same updates, including a new grille and bumper, while a black lower frame is added to the rear bumper. Slice up the Hatchback to a more compact 2mm grow paired with fresh alloy wheels in 15–16 inch sizes, colors are broken down by variant.

A notable functional enhancement is the availability of an electronic parking brake (EPB) on the new City Sedan and Hatchback on EX, EXL, and Touring trims that include a Brake Hold function. All-disc brakes are now standard on all the variants except for the base LX model. EX, EXL, and Touring variants also add the ability to wirelessly charge your phone with the introduction of wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The front features two Type-A USB ports, while the rear gets two Type-C USB ports.

The touchscreen infotainment system gets new graphics, higher resolution, and a new interface along with three different wallpapers as well. The rear camera has also gotten some bump in resolution to click sharper pics. The instrument console is a 4.2-inch or 7-inch color TFT screen depending on the variant. The higher-spec EXL and Touring variants now offer LaneWatch for blind spot monitoring. The myHonda Connect suite is found in EXL and Touring models, with dual-zone automatic climate control reserved for the Touring variants. Six airbags are now fitted as standard on all variants of the 2025 City Sedan and Hatchback.

Available from EX trim is Honda Sensing, a suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) that includes low-speed follow, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, frontal collision mitigation, and automatic high beam switching. The engine fitment for the 2025 Honda City Sedan and Hatchback is the same 1.5-litre flex-fuel naturally aspirated in-line four-cylinder engine for all variants. This engine achieves top marks in fuel efficiency and emissions according to the Brazilian Labeling Program (PBE).

The output is 126 hp in both fuels while torque is rated at 155 Nm when fueled with ethanol and 152 Nm when fueled with gasoline, coupled with a CVT gearbox. The base LX variants of the 2025 City Sedan and City Hatchback are priced at R$ 117,500 (approximately ₹17 lakh). The top-tier Touring variant of the City Sedan starts at R$ 142,400 (around ₹20.70 lakh), while the Hatchback’s top-spec Touring variant is priced at R$ 141,400 (approximately ₹20.57 lakh).
