A pro in automotive innovation, Maruti Suzuki is about to launch the highly anticipated 2024 Maruti Swift and DZire facelift in India. For the past decade, both models have outperformed and met high competition from market rivals in each segment. The fourth-generation Maruti Swift, which was unveiled in Japan last year, will be launched in India in May 2024.

The upcoming version is fully updated, ensuring improved technology and safety features matched to make the cars more appealing and better in performance. The exterior is enhanced with a new front grille, a chrome strip, a radar module placed centrally in the grille, and LED signatures and headlamps that have been updated.

Based on Maruti Suzuki’s most successful Baleno and Fronx models, the interior of the new Swift also offers a stunning 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which can connect wirelessly to compatible Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. With updated safety features such as six airbags, electronic stability programs, and potential ADAS, the new Swift boasts a powerful 1.2-liter Z Series petrol engine, which can be paired with a manual, automatic, and a CNG option.

Regarding the successful introduction of the Swift, the new generation Maruti Suzuki DZire is set also to inherit many of these improvements. This means the DZire’s exterior will appear captivating with refreshed redesigned LED headlamps a new front grille and 16-inch alloy wheels. The cabin gets modern concepts such as the floating infotainment system, slim AC vents, and improved connectivity, such as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The top-spec variant will receive a single-pane sunroof for a luxurious touch.

The DZire shares its powertrain with the Swift and is powered by the same 1.2-liter Z Series petrol engines. It is likely to be more fuel-efficient and offer better dynamic performance. The DZire aims to continue its dominant position in the Compact Sedan category much ahead of the competition such as the Hyundai Aura, Tata Tigor, and Honda Amaze, to name a few.
