Now, post the arrival of the Swift duo, Maruti Suzuki has started planning for the launch of the new Dzire in 2024. Ahead of the launch, the company has released the first official teaser for the 2024 Dzire sedan with the tagline, “The Best Is Just The Beginning.” New Dzire will further rival head-to-head with competitors such as the Hyundai Aura, Honda Amaze, and Tata Tigor.
The Teased 2024 Maruti Dzire
The Maruti Dzire gets a first-in-segment sunroof, which will clearly help the new generation invigorate its sales while customer preferences continue to grow towards having a sunburn on top. This is a sign of Maruti Suzuki’s changing approach as the automaker was earlier reluctant to fit sunroofs in their cars. The addition of this feature not only helps in cementing the sedan’s premium feel but will also enhance its sales prospects.
On the other hand, the new Dzire features a sporty design with an updated lighting setup, a new grille boasting horizontal slats, and a revised bonnet. The muscular, SUV-inspired appearance is deliberate as it taps into the increasing number of buyers choosing an SUV over a conventional hatchback or saloon. The side profile is highlighted by new sporty alloy wheels and sharp body contours, along with chrome window garnishings, body-color door handles as well as blackened B pillars. The rear of the 2024 Dzire sports new tail lamps which are now joined by a piano black strip.

A CNG variant will also be available later, generating 69.75 PS and 101.8 Nm, with expected mileage similar to the Swift’s class-leading 32.85 km/kg. The petrol version of the new Dzire boasts fuel efficiency figures of 24.8 km/L (MT) and 25.75 km/L (AMT).
