2024 Maruti Dzire Launched: New Features, Safety, and CNG

India’s favorite sedan, the Maruti Dzire retains its position as the segment leader by registering the highest sales amongst all rivals. Maruti Dzire carries on with its 4th generation launch and comes equipped with several new features, advanced technology, and upgraded safety to strengthen the compact sedan further.

2024 Maruti Dzire Launched with Enhanced Features, Safety, and CNG Option Starting at ₹6.79 Lakh

The new Dzire is priced between ₹6.79 lakh and ₹10.14 lakh (ex-showroom) across four variants: LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi Plus. It is available in seven appealing colors: Gallant Red, Nutmeg Brown, Alluring Blue, Bluish Black, Magma Grey, Arctic White, and Splendid Silver. The petrol manual variants start at ₹6.79 lakh for the base LXI, while the AGS variants begin at ₹8.24 lakh. The CNG-powered versions start at ₹8.74 lakh.

2024 Dzire features a new design, including a wide front grille, LED DRLs with added elements, Y-shaped LED tail lamps with chrome strips, and fresh dual-tone 15-inch alloy wheels. When it comes to dimensions, the sedan stretches 3,995 mm long, 1,735 mm wide, and 1,525 mm high with a wheelbase of 2,450 mm and ground clearance of 163 mm. The cabin is said to feel premium with beige and black upholstery, wooden trims, and a 9-inch floating touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto positioned in the vertical format.

The crash test rating for the Dzire now stands at a 5-star GNCAP rating for adult occupant protection and a 4-star rating for child protection. The feature list includes three airbags (driver, passenger, and side), electronic stability control, and a reverse parking camera. The Dzire gets a new 1.2-liter Z-Series petrol engine with 81 hp and 112 Nm of torque under the hood that delivers fuel efficiency of up to 25.71km/l in automatic variants. The CNG trim also returns 33.73 km/kg.

Instead, the Dzire features a new 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder Z-Series engine that replaces its predecessor’s K-Series unit. The power is delivered through a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox. It has a manual transmission fuel efficiency of 24.79 km/l and that of an automatic is 25.71 km/l CNG variant: 33.73 km/kg
