After an early drop in form, Erik Ten Hag has managed to get Manchester United back to the level that is expected of them. The team is in fine form and is in contention for a return to the Champions League at the very least.

With the resources he has been provided, Ten Hag has managed to perform very well this season. And in the process, he has achieved some very interesting stats that we’ll take a look at in this article.

In his 27 games in charge of the club in 22/23, Erik Ten Hag has achieved a 72.1% win rate. This is higher than the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson, who spent the majority of his career with the Premier League giants and is responsible for a lot of their modern success. Ten Hag is also the fastest Manchester United manager to reach 20 wins.

They have also surpassed Manchester City and Arsenal in the most successful counter pressing figures, with their rate coming at just under 30%. United are also the only club this season to have won all 11 games where they have taken the lead first.

Erik Ten Hag’s side has achieved an eight-match winning run at home, which is their longest such streak since December 2017. And it will be very interesting to see how long they can keep this up as they attempt to end their drought for silverware.
