Tata Motors experiences hectic times throughout the holiday season, just like the majority of other OEMs. Recently, the business unveiled the updated Nexon, which received a wide variety of improvements. The facelifted variants of Harrier and Safari are expected to come shortly.

The company’s new design language will serve as the basis for Tata’s premium SUVs. The equipment list will be updated to reflect features offered by other mid-size SUVs. The new Harrier and Safari models will continue to compete with vehicles like the Scorpio N, XUV 700, and MG Hector. Fans got a better look at the redesigned touchscreen of the 2023 Harrier and Safari thanks to auto enthusiast Roshan Varghese.

Everything About the 2023 Tata Harrier and Safari Facelift

The spy pictures show that this touchscreen is new and significantly larger than the ones that are currently available with the Harrier and Safari SUVs. It was almost time for Tata Motors to update the touchscreen in their flagship SUVs since Nexon received the same 10.25-inch touchscreen as Harrier and Safari. With a 14-inch touchscreen, the MG Hector currently has the largest one in the market. Is this new touchscreen from Harrier and Safari larger than that?

Regarding appearance, the Harrier and Safari facelifts are anticipated to have a front fascia that is nearly identical. Vertically positioned headlamps, large LED DRLs, a revamped grille, and a prominent bumper are a few of the features. The design of the bonnet appears to be unchanged from before.

The side profile has not changed much. Rear disc brakes could be provided as standard equipment across all trim levels. The SUVs’ new tail lamps and indicators will be located at the back. Sequential LED DRLs have been added to Nexon, and they may soon be added to face-lifted models of Harrier and Safari.

Although outward upgrades are effective, the interior is where things really start to get interesting. Tata has made sure that the interiors are significantly more upscale, as befits its flagship SUVs. Test mules have been seen with a huge touchscreen, maybe measuring 12 inches or more. The majority of consumers appear to favor larger sizes, which is where the larger units start to matter.

A new digital instrument console is also included in the facelifts of the Harrier and Safari. A redesigned steering wheel with two spokes and the Tata emblem in the middle is another standout feature. In addition, a new central console with a new gear shifter has been included. It has a clever design and is simple to grab. There is a sizable dial with a circular display on the central console. The dial is utilised in the current model to select ESP modes. With the facelifted variants of Harrier and Safari, further choices, such as AWD modes, might be offered.

An engine with a 2.0 litre turbo diesel capacity powers both the Harrier and the Safari. 350 Nm of maximum torque and 170 PS of maximum power are produced by it. Options for gearbox include a 6-speed automatic and a 6-speed manual. The same engine option will be offered in facelift models.

Tata might unveil its brand-new 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with the facelifts. 170 PS are produced by this powerful engine. It might be coupled with a fresh DCT gearbox. Diesel and petrol engines are available in the majority of the most popular mid-size SUVs. A petrol motor is very important because of this. It may be possible to debut the Harrier and Safari petrol versions at a cheaper price range, which will increase sales.
