Curran last played for Chennai Super Kings. He was forced to drop for injury. Although rival teams Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings, who enter the game with the two biggest budgets, will have a better chance of snatching the England all-rounder who is a proven match-winner both with ball and bat.

Dwayne Bravo one of the most popular crickets retired from IPL but returned to CSK as their bowling coach.
