The new BCCI NEW Selection Committee set to be announced in December

The last date to submit applications for the selector’s post has passed. As per reports, the board has already received over 80 applications for the vacancy of five selectors. The board will be inspecting the applications and will announce the new selection committee in December. Laxman Sivaramakrishnan, a former Indian cricket is not likely to get a nod.

He was one of the favourites of the BCCI but the board is reluctant to appoint two selectors from the same zone in senior and junior committees. Former Tamil Nadu cricketer Sharath Sridharan is serving as the chairman of the junior selection committee.

Chetan Sharma, Sunil Joshi, Debashish Mohanty, and Harvinder Singh are on the committee before the new members are allowed.
