Bournemouth have appointed Gary O’Neil as their new head coach to replace Scott Parker permanently. The 39-year-old has signed a contract until 2024, and will be leading the team for the future as they look towards a change.
O’Neil was in charge of the team for 12 games as their caretaker manager. And in that time, they have won, drawn and lost four games each. Right now, they are 14th in the table with 16 points from 15 games.

The Cherries were in contact with former Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa as well. But, they decided that Gary O’Neil was the right man for the job for the long-term.
Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake said: “Gary did an excellent job on an interim basis and the board are delighted to make his position as head coach permanent.
