The forward missed a penalty in the game against Mexico, which was an amazing chance for him to open his World Cup account. But a save from Memo Ochoa denied him his first goal at the tournament.

However, this time, Robert Lewandowski was able to find the back of the net and end his goal drought. He also provided the assist for the opener, supplying Piotr Zielinski after being unable to put it away himself.

In order to qualify, Poland need only a point against Argentina to make the Round of 16 for the first time since 1986. On the other hand, Saudi Arabia will have to depend on the result between Argentina and Mexico to learn what they need to do to qualify.
