Outer Banks season 3 has just wrapped up the shooting as the new season will hit on Netflix in 2023. The show confirms three new cast members for Season 3. For the first-time Outer Banks hit in April 2020, the young teen crime drama series came back for a highly anticipated second season on July 20-20.
The series has been notable to pick up many award nominations for a lifetime, containing the notable best drama and best male TV star awards for the People’s Choice Awards following season 2.
Outer Banks (Season 3): Renewal Status
It has been rumored that become viral on Facebook and said that the series has been cancelled, but it has not been confirmed officially that actually what is the store for Outer banks moving forward. The post has said that “Outer Banks is officially cancelled by Netflix after season 2, according to Netflix, the second season had not been given the return that they had desired.
It is reported that such rumors including one that became viral on Facebook by saying that the series has been cancelled a renewal and did not come until December 2021.

Outer Banks (Season 3): Returning Casts
In this third season, we will see Josh Pate and Shanon Burke as executive producers. The cats are Chase Stokes, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Madelyn Cline, Rudy Pankow, Austin North, Charles Esten, Drew Starkey, and Carlacia Grant. In June 2022, we got word of three new major castings for season 3 from Outer Banks through Deadline.
The latest cast members are:
- Andy Macqueen– Station Eleven will play Carlos Singh that also described as a Caribbean Don who is very intelligent, refined, and ruthless, and also is out on a treasure hunt on his own.
- Fiona Palomo- she will play the role of Sofia as there is someone who has identified as a Pogue but in secret yearns to be a part of the country club crowd. She begins to form a close connection with rage.
- Lou Ferringo Jr- He has seen Ryan in season 3. It has described as calm and collected but young and hungry, and he is the top security officer and enforcer. He has just done enough jobs for keeping a cool head but also knows what could happen if he has failed.
There is local news station WBCD News 2 just reported on 1st July as the series was actively a John-B looking like.

“Casting agents say the show’s director is looking for a juvenile actor to portray a younger version of the show’s lead character, John B, next week.
The candidate must be a Caucasian male between five and seven years old with a light brown hit, and brown or hazel eyes. You are asked not to submit your child unless they fit that age range and resemble the character, which is played by actor Chase Stokes.”
Recently casing calls just dropped for Kook Dads, mature Kooks, and Pogues, bartenders, and waitstaff along with some photo doubles.
The IMDb has suggested several tiny castings have been for the latest season containing:
Rick Perez as Ted, Art Newkirk as Officer Henderson, Angela Lentz as Cruise Ship Patron, and Drew Broderick as Security Guard.
We will see one of the body doubles, Alexander Jennings getting involved in a hit-and-run incident at the time of the shooting of season 3, and sadly watched him lose his life. The casting director, Kimmie Stewart told The Post and Courier, “We are all in complete shock right now,” also adding that Jennings was “one of the kindest humans I’ve ever known.”
Outer Banks (Season 3): Production Status
It seems that the filming dates have been subject to be changed as it currently stands filming for season 3 will start in Charleston, South Carolina on 16th February 2022 and also run across the 19th of August 2022.
On 14th February 2022 Valerie Weiss posted on Instagram confirming that filming did get underway on 15th February along with a post that is captioned:

Between July 26th and August 1st, 2021, this series got 322. 59 million hours of view globally on Netflix. In the first four weeks, it got the first position after its release on Netflix.

Outer Banks (Season 3): Expectations

They are married, but they actually kind of do not know a whole lot about each other. I feel like that would be really fun. They are obviously been through a lot together.”
Now Chase Stokes also teased to Elite daily that the latest season also would have a “vibe shift” in season 3 by saying,” The writers really like to keep us on our toes, and also I think that creates performances that catch you in the moment…I’ve no idea what’s going on past what we have shot on Barbados” and also added,” I think a lot of loose ends are going to get tied up. A lot of questions will be answered. And per usual, these kids are going to get out rough the wringer.”
On speaking this September to WGTC, Travis Garret Long just unveiled that this season will feature “full of action” and “a lot of resolve for some of the wants and needs of viewers.”

“Ever since we started, we always viewed it as something that was probably like a four-season, maybe five-season show, but definitely four seasons. We’ve sort of long-arced oy out pretty far. I’m just hoping that we get a chance to actually tell those stories.”
Jonas Pate said, “My answer is, as long as we can keep making it good and we’re still excited. That’s the number. Definitely more than three.”
Outer Banks (Season 3): Release Date
After the Tudum event, Outer Banks Season 3 is set to release in 2023. At London Film Festival, Madelyn Cline slip that the series is currently scheduled to come back on 23rd February 2023.
Netflix has not still confirmed the official date by itself, it can be possible that Netflix may change the release date.

Apart from the show, you may hear that Madelyn cline and Chase Stokes had a date, but that relationship seems to be sour.
