What is Brazil’s strongest XI heading into the 2022 World Cup?

Brazil manager Tite has named the 26-man squad that will travel to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Veterans Thiago Silva and Dani Alves have made the list, while Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino misses out despite having scored eight goals and provided four assists across all competitions. 

Here is the full squad list:

Brazil are going to the World Cup as one of the strongest teams in the competition. Their attack is by far one of the deepest, and has world-class options from top to bottom. 

While it will be difficult to choose an out-and-out starting eleven for every game, but this is what it could look like for the team in Qatar:

RB: Dani Alves 

CB: Thiago Silva

CB: Marquinhos 

LB: Alex Telles 

CDM: Casemiro

CM: Fred
