The Core i5-13400 Non-K CPU from Intel has been benchmarked in CPU-z and has shown respectable performance for its price range. The Core i5-13400 CPU will likely be built on both the Raptor Lake and Alder Lake architectures and feature a base frequency of 2.5 GHz and a maximum boost clock of 4.6 GHz, according to earlier leaks of the most recent Intel Raptor Lake CPUs, also known as the 13th Gen Core processors.

The L3 cache will also have an integrated GPU and be 20MB (Intel UHD 770). Both B0 (RPL-S 8+16) and C0 (ADL-S 8+8) die SKUs have been listed for the CPU.

This further includes the chip on the list of recently discovered Intel 13th Gen Core series processors. Through compatibility listings from Microsoft and Gigabyte, 22 processors were exposed. Two distinct architectures will be used in the design of the new processors. Although Alder Lake C0 and H0 architectures are also available, Raptor Lake B0 architectures will be used more frequently by the processors.

Impressive single-core and multi-core scores for the leaked Intel Core i5-13400 CPU are 729.3 and 6591.5, respectively.

While the new chip comes close to the Core i5-12600K, the most important point to note is that it outperforms AMD’s Ryzen 5 7600X, which costs about $300 US and has a claimed TDP of 105W, in terms of multi-threaded performance.

In contrast, the Intel Core i5-13400, a 65 Watt chip, will retail for roughly $200 US, similar to its predecessor, with the “F” variant perhaps costing less. That would represent a price differential of at least $100 US for Intel’s processor, which will work with DDR5/DDR4 memory and existing motherboards.
