Venom 3 has got a new director. According to Deadline, it has come to know that Kelly Marcel is going to be the new director. Kelly Marcel is the man who has written and produced the first two Venom movies and now, he is going to direct the third movie.
In the movie Venom 3, Kelly Marcel is also going to write the screenplay, based on a story, which she has written with star Tom Hardy. Marcel and Hardy both are going to produce Venom 3.
Venom 3 has got a new director
Venom 3 is going to be directed by Kelly Marcel. Before writing the first Venom in the year 2018, Marcel has also written the story for the Disney movie Saving Mr. Banks and penned the screenplay for Fifty Shades of Grey. Marcel has also written the story for Disney’s 2021 live-action Cruella film and wrote for the upcoming 2022 TV series The Changeling.
The original Venom has been directed by Ruben Fleischer, while Andy Serkis directed Venom 2. Marcel has been a part of the creative team from the beginning. For, Venom 3, the story details are now wrapping up. In this third series of Venom Hardy is again going to play Eddie Brock/Venom. But still, now other star casts details have not been revealed.
The first Venom movie earned $850 million at the box office, while Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage brought in more than $500 million during the pandemic. Togetherly, both sequels have earned more than $1.3 billion globally.
As of today, there is no news about the movie’s filming or release date. The character Venom is part of Sony’s Spider-Man universe of Marvel characters. Sony is also producing movies based on the Marvel characters Madame Web and El Muerto.
