Brazilian wonderkid Endrick has been the subject of intense transfer speculation. He recently became the youngest goalscorer for Palmeiras in their history. And, having performed very well at the youth level, he is expected to be a top player at the senior level too.
He has only just started his senior career, and is expected to join a top club very soon. The best clubs in Europe are set to engage in a transfer battle for the young forward, similar to that which took place for Erling Haaland this summer.
Real Madrid trying to sign Endrick prematurely
PSG have been keeping tabs on the youngster for the last few weeks at the very least. There were rumours that they had reached an agreement with his representatives worth €20 million. However, those were denied last week.
Real Madrid are also in the race to sign the 16-year-old. They have entertained his parents at the Santiago Bernabeu, and have also sent scouts to watch Endrick in Brazil.
Any transfer to Europe will have to wait till 2024, since he won’t be able to make the move until he is 18 years old. There is a €60 million release clause included in the contract he signed with Palmeiras, but the club that can convince him with their project will be the one to sign him in the end.
