Women’s Finalissima: England will face Brazil at Wembley in April 2023

UEFA and CONMEBOL have agreed to host the Women’s Finalissima for the winners of the Women’s EURO 2022 and the Copa America Femenina 2022, just like they did for the men’s team as well. In the Men’s Finalissima, Italy took on Argentina and Messi’s team won the match.

England won the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 and Brazil won their fourth consecutive Copa America Femenina title. The teams will now face each other in the Women’s Finalissima.

It has now been confirmed that the Women’s Finalissima will be held at Wembley. The match will take place on Thursday, 6th April 2023 and will kick off at 7:45 pm local time.

Speaking following the announcement, England head coach Sarina Wiegman said “The great games keep on coming for us. This time, we have the opportunity to welcome Brazil to Wembley and it will be another big moment after the EUROs and USA match.

“Like us, they will be thinking about the World Cup next summer. This is a chance to again test ourselves against another top 10 team in the world, an opportunity to win another trophy and give our fans something special to watch, hopefully in a packed-out Wembley.”

The tickets for the Women’s Finalissima will go on sale from Monday 31st October 2022 at 10 am. You can buy tickets from Wembley Stadium’s official website.
