Netflix has opened up about the possibility of a cloud gaming option that’s following the shutdown of Google Stadia. Cloud Gaming is now growing more and more prevalent as large tech companies try to figure out how to get these massive games to a bigger audience. On paper, cloud gaming might make things a much more reasonably proven hobby.

As soon as it stands, you may need a $500 console or a PC that can be even more costly and can range into the thousands that are depending on how you can able you buy or build it. We will like to say that the games cost $60- $70 and you just need the time to be able to replay them. For this Cloud, gaming has allowed you to stream the games to your device as you can stream a film through Netflix. This is still in its infancy as a concept that’s getting better with time.

Netflix

In 2021, Netflix has opted to visit the gaming space that contains mobile games at no such extra cost for the subscription plans. It has not been used on a broader aspect. Netflix is going to consider the bigger things for the gaming efforts. While speaking at TechCrunch Disrupt, Netflix’s VO of gaming Mike Verdu confirmed that the company is “seriously exploring a cloud gaming offering.”  Recently, Verdu doesn’t want to overtake those console spaces but hopes to utilize them to bring such additional value to Netflix.

Verdu said, “It’s a value add. We’re not asking you to subscribe as a console replacement,” “It’s a completely different business model. The hope is over time that it just becomes this very natural way to play games wherever you are.”

Verdu also spoke positively about the idea of Google Stadia, praising the technical features, but we can assume it will fall apart due to the business model It’s still unclear what Netflix’s cloud gaming service could look like or what games would even be on it. It sounds like it’s still something that the company is doing a while before it materializes.
