Amazon Prime Video has dropped the new trailer of the latest Western drama show ‘The English’. The show is featuring Emily Hunt and Chaske Spencer. The show has been made by Hugo Blick who also serves as an executive producer, director, and writer.
The story of the new series follows such aristocratic Englishwoman Lady Cornelia Locke played by Blunt. we will see the ex-cavalry scout named Eli Whipp played by Spencer. They arrived together in 1890 in middle America to cross a violent landscape built on dreams and blood. “The English” was also produced by the Drama Republic, a Mediawan company, and Right Rooks. Blunt also serves as executive producer, alongside Greg Brenman for the Drama Republic. Colin Wratten serves as a producer on “The English”.
The series has set in 1890, the series focuses on aristocratic Englishwoman Lady Cornelia Locke, who journeys to the American West seeking revenge for the man she blames for the death of her son. At the time on her journey, she encounters a Pawnee ex-cavalry scout Eli Whipp who is also on a similar quest for revenge and collaborates with him to accomplish both of their goals.
The quest ultimately takes them to the newly established town of Hoxem, Wyoming where the series of unsolved killers has taken place, and ultimately causes them to find out a surprising connection with each other from their pasts. The new trailer has teased that the series will offer a mixture of action, fore, and drama while also hinting at a romance between the two lead characters.
Additionally, we will say that in Blunt and Spencer, the cast also contains Stephen Rea, Valerie Pachner, Rafe Spall, Tom Hughes, Toby Jones, and Ciaran Hinds. The series was also created by Hugo Blick whose past credits include British miniseries like “The Honorable Woman”, “Black Earth Rising,”, and “ The Shadow Line.”

The six episodes series “The English” will hit on Prime Video on 11th November 2022.
