According to Le Parisien in France, Kylian Mbappe feels betrayed by PSG and wants to leave the club. Their sporting director, Luis Campos, is in the same situation, and is also looking for an exit despite being only a few months into his contract.
This summer, it was almost certain that Mbappe would sign for Real Madrid. However, the forward ended up staying at PSG after signing a new contract with them. He personally told Madrid president Florentino Perez about his decision, to the dismay of many fans.
Kylian Mbappe wants out of PSG
One of the rumoured reasons behind Mbappe wanting to leave is due to the influence Messi has in the dressing room. The 23-year-old does not believe that the current atmosphere is not favourable to win the Champions League. He has also fallen out with Neymar, which has been discussed at length.
When Kylian Mbappe renewed his contract, one of the main promises made to him was that he would be the centre of the project. However, it seems like that hasn’t been fulfilled.
He recently posted an Instagram story venting his frustration about being played as a number 9. Which goes on to suggest that there is discontent with the way that things are shaping up for him.
Real Madrid are not expected to be in the race to sign him. Which means that it could be anyone’s guess as to who ends up signing him.
His astronomical wages will probably not be matched by any other club in the world. And if he does end up leaving PSG, Mbappe will need to take a pay cut to fit into a new project.
