Google Pixel Foldable launch timeline tipped

In their latest event, Google officially launched their Pixel 7 lineup of smartphones which includes the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones. Further, they also showcased their Google Pixel Tablet, which will be launched next year. Now, a new leak has started emerging online regarding the unreleased Pixel foldable smartphone which might debut with the name “Google Pixel NotePad”.

Google Pixel Foldable tipped to launch in Q1 of 2023

The official marketing name of the Pixel foldable is not known yet. A report that surfaced at the beginning of this year claimed that it could be called the Pixel Notepad. It further revealed that Google’s first foldable phone will cost less than Samsung’s foldables.

Going with the reports coming from Ross Young, it’s been speculated that we will get to see Google launching their first ever foldable which is the Google Pixel Foldable in the first quarter of 2023.

According to reports, it’s been said that this Pixel Foldable smartphone will be called “Pixel Notepad” and it will be coming with a similar folding design inspired by Oppo’s Find N foldable smartphone. Also, it’s been already speculated that we will get to see Google adding more tweaks to its Android operating system which will make it helpful for using it on a foldable tablet.

The Pixel Notepad (codenamed Pipit) is expected to resemble the OPPO Find N foldable phone, though it might be smaller in size. On the outside, it might have a 64-megapixel primary camera (Sony IMX787), a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens (Sony IMX386), and a 10.8-megapixel telephoto lens (Samsung S5K3J1). It goes without saying that the tablet will offer an Android 13 experience. The device is expected to offer 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of built-in storage.

It might have a 10.8-megapixel (S5K3J1) selfie camera. It might have an internal 8-megapixel (Sony IMX355) camera. The device has been confirmed to be powered by the Google Tensor chipset. As of now, we don’t have any confirmed reports coming from Google. This is just a leak coming out from various sources and we still have to wait a little longer to get confirmed updates about the smartphone launch.
