New Realme Update: Realme UI update to bring support for Jio 5G connectivity for the compatible smartphones

India yesterday witnessed the introduction of fifth-generation (5G) cellular connection. Reliance Jio, a competitor of Airtel, will launch its 5G services by this month’s Diwali while Airtel has already launched them in eight Indian cities.

The current generation of networks has not yet been accessible to customers in India, despite the fact that many smartphone OEMs have already developed 5G-compatible smartphones. Some Realme devices, according to reports, will apparently support the network now that 5G services are becoming available.

On Twitter, some Realme customers announced that they had received a new Realme UI upgrade that gave them access to Jio’s True 5G network.

The support for the 5G network is in the update changelog for now. Along with the additional system and stability enhancements, the minor update also includes the Android security patch for September 2022. Jio customers can now utilize 5G services on their Realme handsets that are compatible thanks to the update.

It’s important to note, though, that the telecom provider will launch services during this Diwali, which starts on October 24th, in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai.

Although the firm has not yet made an official announcement, the Realme UI update appears to be going out to all 5G compatible handsets. If you haven’t yet gotten it, check the software update area by navigating to the Settings menu on your phone.

Realme VP Madhav Sheth said in a statement, “We have collaborated with the main telecoms in India and have devised a multitude of bundle deals for our users. By October, 100% of our devices will fully support SA, up from the current 85%. We are also delivering OTA updates for our products to enable all of our users to fully benefit from 5G.
