Liger is an Indian Sports action movie, starring a famous south Indian actor Vijay Deverakonda. It is directed by Puri Jagannadh and it is co-produced by Karan Johar, Charmme Kaur, Apoorva Mehta, and Hiroo Yash Johar under Puri connect and Dharma productions.
The movie has flopped massively at the box office. The movie was released on a pan-India basis on 25th August 2022. It was released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.

The official Twitter account for Disney+ Hotstar Telugu shared a tweet just a few minutes after midnight on Thursday, September 22, and wrote, “Witness @TheDeverakonda in all his Mad Glory, as #LIGER! #LigerOnHotstar Streaming Now” along with a film poster mentioning the languages Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Liger is now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. The film will be released in the four South Indian languages on and from September 22 at midnight, and its Hindi version will be released later.

Liger stars Vijay Deverakonda Ananya Panday, Ramya, and Mike Tyson. The film’s story revolves around Vijay Deverakonda’s MMA fighter character, who rises from poverty and works towards becoming a world champion. The film was made on an estimated budget of Rs 125 crore, but its collections have been disputed. While a Bollywood Hungama report suggests that the film made just Rs 20 crore in India, Dharma Productions said that it made Rs 33 crore worldwide on day one.
