Google Pixel Watch will reportedly be powered by an older CPU

The Pixel 7 series and the Pixel Watch are slated to be unveiled by Google at its upcoming hardware presentation. Since we already know practically everything about forthcoming devices, there aren’t many questions concerning them at this time. However, fresh information about the Pixel Watch has come to light, and it doesn’t seem promising for Google’s wristwatch.

The cellular form of the Pixel Watch, which costs $399.99, was previously mentioned as being more expensive than the competitors. The price was confirmed by a different source, however as of right now, we now know the Bluetooth/Wi-Fi price, which will start at $349.99.

Silver/Chalk, Gold/Hazel, and the Google Pixel Watch will all be offered with an Obsidian band and a Black casing. The cellular model, on the other hand, will come in Black/Obsidian, Silver/Charcoal, and Gold/Hazel.

The Pixel Watch is due out next month, which is fantastic, but it also makes us ask why it costs more than some of the top smartwatches on the market. For instance, the Galaxy Watch 5 starts at $279 for the 40mm model and $309 for the 44mm. These watches actually come with a sapphire crystal, WearOS 3, and a multi-day battery life, making them premium.

While the Pixel Watch’s precise specifications are unknown, the fact that it uses a chip that was first introduced in 2018 and has a lower battery will not assist Google’s argument.

Another thing to keep in mind is that, contrary to claims that have been circulating, the Pixel Watch will not be less expensive in Europe than it will be in the United States.

It is realistic to assume that Google will need to do a lot if it wants to make an impact in the smartphone market because the market has reached a point of saturation and Google cannot simply deliver a subpar offering and expect it to succeed.
