Chelsea to announce Graham Potter as new manager on 5-year deal

Chelsea are set to appoint Graham Potter as their new manager, following the dismissal of Thomas Tuchel. Todd Boehly has reached an agreement with the manager to bring him over to West London, and a fee around £10 million is expected to be paid to Brighton.

Potter is now in talks with his current club over leaving, and will soon complete his move to Chelsea. He has arrived in Cobham and is set to sign the contract formally, in order to be announced as the new manager.

Graham Potter to become the new Chelsea head coach

The soon-to-be former Brighton manager had a long conversation with Chelsea owner and acting director of football Todd Boehly over the project. And the two parties are satisfied with the talks that were held over a long-term project.

Graham Potter will be signing a five-year contract with Chelsea, which is significantly longer than the ones previous managers had under the Roman Abramovich era. As a result, this seems to be a new era for Chelsea in terms of their dealings with managers too.
