The buy option included in the deal will be worth €15 million up-front plus add-ons worth €5 million. Personal terms have been agreed with the player since the first week of August, as he only wanted a move to the Serie A side.

He was one of their top targets for the summer to bolster the midfield, and is now close to completing the move. The deal has been given the here we go signal by Fabrizio Romano, which means an official statement can be expected soon.

Paris Saint-Germain have signed several midfielders this summer, including Renato Sanches, Vitinha, Fabian Ruiz and Carlos Soler. As a result, they need to offload some players in that position who are surplus to requirements.

As a result, Leandro Paredes could be the first in a list of players that eventually leave the club over the course of the next day.
