The new MG Gloster is now available in India, with prices beginning at Rs 31.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The model receives minor exterior design changes as well as an enhanced connected-car suite.
MG Gloster launched in India
The car receives exterior updates like new 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and the addition of the Deep Golden color. The model is also available in Warm White, Metal Ash, Metal Black, and Agate Red.
The revised exterior has a massive three-slat grille with a chrome surround, LED projector headlights with integrated LED DRLs, contrast-colored skid plates, fog lights, side steps, chrome door handles, LED tail lights, and quad-tip exhausts.
Over 75 connected-car technologies are included inside this new version, some of which include live weather updates, remote control for the audio system, ambient lighting, and air conditioning via the i-Smart 2.0 app, Hinglish voice commands, and an Android watch app. Additional first-in-segment features of the current Gloster Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) include Door Open Warning (DOW), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), and Lane Change Assist (LCA).

The updated powertrain options and eight-speed automatic transmission are both carried over. The 2.0-liter turbo-diesel engine puts out 161 horsepower and 375 pound-feet of torque, while the twin-turbo model puts out 215 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. The Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra Alturas G4, Skoda Kodiaq, and Jeep Meridian are competitors of the new MG Gloster.

He continued by saying that they are aggressively addressing the problems with the supply chain through initiatives like increased localization to ensure an improvement in production. With this introduction, they intend to increase Gloster sales by double.
