Xiaomi 12T Pro : All we know so far

It was rumored at the time that the brand might launch this new device globally with the name Xiaomi 12T Pro. And now a famous tipster Abhishek Yadav has claimed that today i.e. 15th August the company will announce the Xiaomi 12T Pro model for the global market. 

As per the alleged specifications of the 12T Pro, the handset is said to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. The company is expected to unveil the Xiaomi 12T series in the coming months. The lineup might make its way to India as well.

Xiaomi 12T Pro Specifications

The Xiaomi 12 Pro smartphone will sport a 6.67-inch Full HD Plus OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and HDR 10+ support. It will get an in-screen fingerprint scanner for security. The smartphone may be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC. 

The 12T Pro smartphone is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup. The cameras are likely to be – a 108-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HM6 primary sensor with OIS and EIS support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro snapper. Recently, however, there have been whispers that Xiaomi may replace the primary sensor on this new model with the latest 200-megapixel Samsung HP1 sensor, which debuted a few days ago with the Moto X30 Pro phone.

The 12T may come in 8GB and 12GB RAM options. It is claimed to get 128GB and 256GB storage options. It will have LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The Xiaomi 12T could pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging and run Android 12. The phone’s expected to offer other good features too, so expect a killer specs sheet. The phone’s due to a release in the next couple of months. As per Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun, we’ll see more on the Leica partnership in July this year. So, we can expect the phone’s launch to be in that month.

The 12T Pro model may be priced at 849 Euros (Rs. 69,100 approx) in the European region and the standard model Xiaomi 12T in the series is said to start at 649 Euros (Rs. 52,800 approx).
