Nottingham Forest set for their 13th signing this summer in Emmanuel Dennis

While Nottingham Forest are playing their first Premier League season in the 21st century, Forest are ready for their 13th signing this summer as striker Emmanuel Dennis.

Nottingham Forest are very busy in this summer transfer window. While eight first-team players have left the club and six first-team players have been loaned out, the club has already signed 12 players along with one loaned in goalkeeper Dean Henderson (from Manchester United).

Nottingham Forest’s another potential signing: Emmanuel Dennis

Now, the Watford striker Emmanuel Dennis is reportedly ready to sign for Forest. The newly promoted PL club has reportedly agreed £20 million deal with Watford to sign the 24-year-old Nigerian striker.

Fabrizio Romano’s recent report claimed that Dennis just completed the medical tests with Forest.

While 2021/22 was the first PL season for Dennis, he impressed Watford. Though his club was ultimately relegated to the Championship, Dennis was their leading goal-scorer with 10 goals.

If Dennis joins the Forest, he will be the second newly forward signing for the club. Earlier this summer, the club added another 25-year-old Nigerian forward Taiwo Awoniyi. Apart from much experienced Joe Lolley and Lyle Taylor, the latest academy graduates Alex Mighten and Brennan Johnson are also on the forward list of the Forest.

The Premier League club is also ready to sign another Swiss midfielder Remo Freuler.

Forest are desperate to stay in Premier League

Wales football manager Steve Cooper is desperate to maintain their Premier League spot for the next season. The FIFA U17 World Cup 2017 winning coach knows well that it will be a very tough job for them to stay in the next PL season.

In the ongoing summer transfer window, Cooper has tried to fill many gaps in different positions. Now, it is time to prove his team with their performances.

In their opening game of the PL 2022/23 season, Cooper’s Forest started with a 2-0 away defeat against Newcastle United. They are now ready for their first PL home game in the 21st century, where they will welcome West Ham United this Sunday (August 14).
