Finally, after a lot of debate, rumour and anticipation Barça have officially announced that it will be activating its fourth economic leaver as an emergency effort to register all 7 signings, including Roberto and Dembele who have recently been renewed.
As we know LaLiga’s huge salary restrictions have impacted a lot of teams and as many as 53 players are waiting to register for the new 2022/23 season. The first match for the Blaugranas is set to take place tomorrow and so as the situation stands, the salary cap is very strained to fit in all players.
This is the reason why as hinted by new president Joan Laporta, FC Barcelona have officially activated the fourth economic leaver i.e. sale of 24.5% of Barça Studios to the company Orpheus Media, managed by Mr Jaume Roures, an audiovisual production company with a long history of producing content, for 100 million euros.
So, this will not only inject short-term money but also act as a strategic partner to help Barça Studios, which has been an important part of the club. However, still the club have not sold its BLM rights i.e. Barça Licensing & Merchandising to any authority, which is a positive sign.

Yes, this is a question that a lot of fans and critics are eager to hear, but as it stands one of the biggest football clubs will be able to register all of these players before tomorrow’s game according to multiple sources. Also, it is reported that Gerard Pique will be accepting another huge salary reduction to help the club as he did previously as well.
