EA just made a big deal about how much they support single-player games, which represents a significant about-face from the way they previously talked about them. The only issue is that they presently don’t have much to back it up, with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and the Dead Space reboot being the only single-player games that have been officially confirmed.

The forthcoming Mass Effect and Dragon Age video games from BioWare are other options; although nothing has been officially confirmed, it is anticipated that they will be single-player experiences like the originals. It’s thought that Dragon Age has changed its mind and is no longer going to be a multiplayer game.

Making Iron Man and Black Panther Game

However, if we include other rumors, there may also be a Black Panther game, a single-player Apex Legends spin-off, and, based on the most recent information, a second Marvel game starring Iron Man.

Serial leaker Jeff Grubb casually announced the second Marvel game on his most recent show, in the same manner, he first divulged that Electronic Arts was developing a Black Panther game. He reeled off a list of Electronic Arts single-player games he purportedly knew about and only remarked that they’re building another Marvel single-player game.

Tomb Henderson, who has previously shown himself as a trustworthy source, particularly about Electronic Arts titles like Battlefield, indicated the game is about Iron Man after that bombshell was delivered.

He claimed that he had heard a few rumors that it was Iron Man, but he had never received any solid information. Put this firmly in the “rumor” area for the time being, and he will report on it appropriately if he hears or sees any additional material that is verifiable. Even while it’s unclear which teams are working on them, it’s not all that unexpected to hear that Electronic Arts would hold more than one Marvel license.

EA Sales in Q2

According to reports, the epidemic-era game boom has progressively subsided. American video game maker Electronic Arts decreases its projected sales for the upcoming quarter due to these and other factors.

The second quarter’s revenue is said to have ranged from $1.73 billion to $1.78 billion. This is less than the $1.87 billion market projections. CFO Chris Suh said that some companies are doing better, while others might be doing slightly worse than we anticipated a few months ago. Suh asserts that the third and fourth quarters will be impacted by a higher dollar.

Due to the obvious well-known “FIFA” series and the recently introduced “F1” series, the company recorded revenue of $1.13 billion for the first quarter that ended in June, above market expectations. As per analytics company NPD, consumer spending on video games in the United States declined 11% in June and is projected to fall 8.7% in 2022 as a result of increased recessionary anxieties, limited availability, and a decline in new game launches.
