Tecno Camon 19 Pro 5G launched in India with Dimensity 810, 120Hz display and more

Tecno Camon 19 Pro 5G was launched in India on Wednesday. It is the third addition to the Camon 19 series after the standard and Neo variants. The latest offering debuted in the global markets in June, and the Indian variant comes with similar specifications. 

The handset’s key highlights include an LCD display, triple rear cameras, a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support. It will be available for purchase from August 12 onward in Cedar Green and Eco Black shades.

The all-new Tecno Camon 19 Pro 5G offers a 6.8-inch LTPS display panel with Full HD+ (1,080 × 2,460 pixels) resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display panel also features TUV Rheinland certification and makes room for a selfie shooter inside a centered punch hole notch.

The Tecno Camon 19 Pro 5G has a triple-back camera configuration for images and videos, along with a variety of camera modes. The main 64MP RGBW+ (G+P) proprietary sensor is said to take in 200% of the available light and employs both HIS and OIS to take clear, steady pictures. A lens with an f/1.65 aperture is used with the sensor. Additionally, there are two 2MP cameras. A 16MP sensor and f/2.45 aperture lens are located on the front.

It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, which is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The RAM can be extended up to 13GB with Memory Fusion technology. It also comes with MediaTek HyperEngine 2.0 with Mali-G57 GPU for intense gaming. The Tecno Camon 19 Pro 5G packs 128GB UFS 2.2 inbuilt storage (expandable up to 512GB via microSD card).

Connectivity options include dual band Wi-Fi, 5G (12 band support), 4G LTE, OTG, NFC, Bluetooth v5.0, and USB Type-C port. Sensors onboard include ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyro, and a side-mounted anti-oil fingerprint scanner. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It measures 166.65×74.31×8.58mm.

The TECNO CAMON 19 Pro 5G is offered in Cedar Green and Eco Black colorways. It bears a price tag of Rs. 21,999 for the sole 8GB/128GB variant. In India, the handset will be up for grabs from August 12 onward via offline retail stores.
