Motorola will launch Razr 2022, X30 Pro, and S30 Pro on August 11

Motorola’s China branch just confirmed it will announce the Moto Razr 2022 alongside the Moto X30 Pro and S30 Pro phones on August 11 at 8PM local time. he launch that was supposed to happen on August 2 in China was delayed, and everyone awaited the new launch dates to be confirmed by the brand. Now, Motorola has announced the new launch date.

Chen Jin, Lenovo China’s general manager for mobile, revealed via his Weibo profile that Motorola will finally unveil the device on August 11, alongside two other devices. The company’s next flagship device, the Moto X30 Pro, and a new device called the Moto S30 Pro will make their debut on the same day as well.

Motorola Razr 2022, X30 Pro, and S30 Pro

motorola would want to redeem itself with the 2022 version of its Razr foldable phone. The phone is expected to come with a metal chassis, a larger display, and a dual camera setup at the back. Coming to the two other devices, the Moto X30 Pro and the Moto S30 Pro, both these devices have had their speculated specifications doing rounds on the internet.

The foldable phone is confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 8+ 1 SoC, like many of this year’s best android phone. The chipset will purportedly be paired with up to 18GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. Optics-wise, the phone is rumored to include a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP main shooter and a 13MP secondary sensor that’ll double as both an ultra-wide and macro camera. A 32MP front camera will supposedly handle selfies.

The X30 Pro is said to have a 200MP tripe rear cam setup and a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor that it will share with the Razr. The S30 Pro looks to be the cheapest of the trio, with a 50MP camera setup housed in a plastic body which will play host to the SD 888 processor.

It should be noted that the upcoming event is only for the phones’ Chinese launch. Motorola hasn’t confirmed anything yet about their global release. We’ll have to wait until the launch day for Motorola to reveal the full details of its next foldable device.
