Shazam is one of the popular DC American superhero characters. According to the comic book, Shazam takes the villainous Hespera and Kalypso daughters into the Greek titan Atlas.

After dew months of the teasers and some anticipation, there is a new trailer unveiled ‘Shazam! Fury of the Gods just has been dropped at the San Diego Comic-Con. It shows that the upcoming film is set to hit the theatres this December having the sequel to 2019’s Shazam!

The brand-new trailer just sets a tone and gets expectations from the latest film. In the new trailer, we can see an adult superhero Billy Batson asking for his ability to be a hero, and comparing himself to becoming a member having the Justice League in a suitable humorous manner. Shazam is like passing through a rough time along with superheroine, and he is the only one keeping things together that can be proven as tough as a couple of the ancient, having superpowered women who came with possession of some staff can do some serious damage.

It’s true we don’t have enough knowledge about the story, but the trailer is enough to boost up the excitement in the project. There is a dew significant departure from the other works into the DCEU, with the first Shazam!  containing some dark elements.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods: Plot

The new trailer opens with Shazam who is doubting his role in the DCEU and also as a superhero, he starts to feel like a fraud while comparing with the other superheroes like Batman, Aquaman, and The Flash. We have seen Helen Mirren’s Hespera known as Shazam-ily, Lucy-Liu’s Kalypso, and Shazam also putting a truck at the dragon taking some reference to Fast and Furious.

Levi is also on the track and shared some information as to what he is and his Shazam-ily are from the first film. Levi said, “We got this really cool look into the kids getting their powers,” also added, “Now, it’s, a couple of years on. We’ve been flying around and doing missions and also helping the people of Philadelphia. Lots of growing pains. Not just in our own powers but in trying to figure out who we are as heroes and as real people.”

After watching the trailer, we can expect that the story follows the Shazam family who is learning to balance their normal life being superheroes, ahead of the two goddesses like Mirren’s Hespera and Liu’s Kalypso just arriving in the world and facing trouble. The characters crack more adult comedy in the upcoming film beyond the kid0-friendly original.
