Google Pixel Buds Pro Launched in India with ANC, Up to 31 Hours Battery

Google Pixel Buds Pro truly wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds were launched in India on Thursday. The earbuds come with active noise cancellation (ANC) support that makes them unique from the earlier Pixel Buds models.

They were displayed in May during the Google I/O 2022 event alongside the Google Pixel Watch and Google Pixel 6a. The audio wearable will go on sale in India starting on the 28th of July through Flipkart. The Pixel Buds Pro has a committed clarity mode and will battle against the likes of Apple’s AirPods Pro and Samsung’s Galaxy Buds Pro in the Indian market.

Google Pixel Buds Pro specifications

The Pixel Buds Pro has active noise cancellation (ANC) constructed on a custom six-core audio chip that runs Google-developed programs. Also, there is a committed clarity mode that allows users to hear clear sounds.

The new earbuds accomplish the Pixel Buds and Pixel Buds A-Series and offer a hands-free Assistant adventure. They feature capacitive touch sensors for tap and swipe action support.

The Pixel Buds Pro earbuds have an IPX4 splash-resistant build and the case has IPX2 splash-resistant design. The charging case supports USB Type-C for wired charging as well as Qi wireless charging. The earbuds come with support for numerous connectivity that empowers pairing with several devices concurrently. For connectivity, the Pixel Buds Pro has Bluetooth v5.0 and they can also be combined with any Bluetooth v4.0+ device, including Android and iOS devices as well as tablets and laptops.

The Pixel Buds Pro users can also make use of the Find My Device app in case they lose an earbud. The charging is rapid charging to offer up to one hour of listening time with five minutes of charging. It comes with a total listening time of up to 31 hours.

Google Pixel Buds Pro: Price and availability

The new Pixel Buds Pro earbuds come at a price of Rs. 19,990. They will be available for purchase in India through Flipkart starting July 28.

The Google Pixel Buds Pro was introduced at a price of 199 dollars earlier in May. The earbuds were revealed in four colors; Charcoal, Coral, Fog, and Lemongrass.
