Arsenal and Manchester City have reached an agreement for the transfer of Oleksandr Zinchenko. The deal has been given the here we go signal by Fabrizio Romano, which means that it is only a matter of time before the transfer is made official.

A £30 million fee has been finalised for the Ukrainian, and personal terms have now been settled as well. The contract with Arsenal will be a four-year deal until 2026.

After Gabriel Jesus, Zinchenko becomes the second Manchester City player to make the move to the Emirates this summer. Both have previously worked with Arteta during his time at the Etihad, and will now be working with him again at his current club.

The transfer of Oleksandr Zinchenko opens up a spot at left-back that Manchester City need to fill. And they have identified Brighton’s Marc Cucurella as the primary target. The Spaniard only joined the Seagulls last summer, and had a very impressive first season with them.

Pep Guardiola now wants to bring the player over to Manchester, for a fee that could be worth £50 million. Since he has multiple years left on his deal, Brighton are under no pressure to sell. As a result, City might have to look elsewhere if they don’t want to match the asking price.
