Manchester United already had a verbal agreement for a three-year contract with Christian Eriksen for a free transfer. The transfer was subject to the completion of medical. However, he came back stronger and joined Premier League side Brentford for 6 months last season. As he has a defibrillator installed, Manchester United had to conduct a thorough medical before confirming his signing. Now the 30-year-old has officially joined the Red Devils, the club has confirmed.

Before joining Inter, Christian Eriksen played seven years for Tottenham Hotspur. He made 305 appearances and scored 69 goals. In total, the creative midfielder has 52 goals and 71 assists in 237 games in the Premier League.
The Denmark international has now become Erik Tan Heg’s second signing for United after left-back Tyrell Malacia.
