Yadav persisted with his assault, dismissing Iyer and Dinesh Karthik in short succession to move the Indians closer to the goal. However, his expulsion in the penultimate over gave England the advantage once more.

After thereafter, Chris Jordan took two wickets in the last over and England managed to win consolingly. Before Liam Livingstone’s unbroken performance of 42 propelled England to a final score of 215 for seven, Dawid Malan had scored a superb 77.

India, who had already secured the win on aggregate by winning the first two fixtures, were still persistent on getting the third in a row. In the first game, Hardik Pandya was a key figure for the side. He got rid of Dawid Malan, Liam Livingstone, and Jason Roy during his turn.

In the second match, India were quick to dismiss England at just 121 runs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s three-wicket haul, Jasprit Bumrah’s two wickets, and Yuzvendra Chahal’s two were the contributing factors in this.

Despite losing wickets frequently, England was still able to score boundaries frequently, especially given the venue’s low boundaries.

The crucial 84-run partnership between Malan and Livingstone allowed England to surpass the 200-run threshold. Both Ravi Bishnoi and Harshal Patel collected two wickets for India. England had earlier chosen to bat after winning the toss.
