Tyler Adams to join Leeds United

Ahead of the World Cup later this year, it is very likely that Tyler Adams will want to retain his place in the team. As a result, he will need regular minutes on the pitch. This past season, the midfielder was only able to make 20 starts in 35 games across all competitions.

And with the arrival of Xaver Schlager from Wolfsburg, there is a very good chance that his minutes will become even more restricted. As a result, he has now decided to link up with former Leipzig manager Mersch at Elland Road.

The 23-year-old will be the replacement for Kalvin Phillips, who recently completed his transfer to Manchester City. Adams will be expected to play a similar role to Phillips, and will be the next big addition for Leeds after Brenden Aaronson, Rasmus Kristensen, Marc Roca and Darko Gyabi.
