iQOO 9T is coming to India: Company confirms Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset

iQOO will launch another 9-series smartphone, dubbed iQOO 9T in India, according to a source. The smartphone is anticipated to be revealed in July. The company is also thinking to announce the iQOO 10 section next month so, the 9T might launch before that. The smartphone will allegedly have Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Soc, a 120Hz AMOLED panel, and 120W fast charging.

As per a report by 91mobiles, it is prepping up to launch the 9T in India. The smartphone is alleged to be revealed in India after the launch of the OnePlus 10T. The approximate date is still not known.

iQOO 9T: Specifications and features

The forthcoming iQOO 9T is anticipated to sport an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset is said to feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Soc under the cover. Finally, the smartphone will support especially absolute 120W fast charging.

The smartphone seems to be a feature-packed flagship. It is absolutely going to give a solid fight to other flagship phones in the market. The phone could be a big success if iQOO sets a cutthroat price.

It is also prepping up to launch the 10-series in July. The section will include a vanilla and Pro model, but it’s not clear if the series will have an SE variant like the iQOO 9 series.

The Pro version is alleged to have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, 2K LTPO display, 50MP main camera, ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader, 200W wired charging, and 65W wireless charging. The Vanilla model will likely not come with any powerful updates over its forerunner.

According to sources, the 9T is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It is said to ship with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Though, the display resolution isn’t directly clear. The iQOO 9T is said to come in two models: 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB models. It would come in a Black color option. Earlier reports indicated it would come with 120W speed charging support.
