The 21-year-old midfielder Saurav Mandal is set to join the ISL team Kerala Blasters. Meanwhile, the 31-year-old Bosnian centre-back Enes Sipovic has officially left the Yellow Army.

Saurav Mandal joins Kerala Blasters

Kerala Blasters has officially announced that they have reached an agreement with Churchill Brothers FC Goa for the transfer deal of Saurav Mandal. However, this transfer will be officially confirmed only after passing the medical test.

After starting his youth career for JCT Football Academy, Saurav also joined the East Bengal U18 team. While the midfielder had a first senior club contract with the I-League 2nd division club Rainbow AC, he later joined ATK Reserves for the I-league 2nd division 2019/20.

In the last two seasons, Saurav served for the I-league side Churchill Brothers. However, he had zero appearances in the 2020/21 season. He played 14 games in the last season, where he scored one goal and two assists for his team.

Now, Saurav is very near to moving to his first ISL team Kerala Blasters, the three-time ISL runners-up, including the last season (2021/22). The versatile player Saurav can play useful roles as a midfielder or winger.

Enes Sipovic leaves Kerala Blasters

On the other hand, Kerala Blasters have also confirmed their parting way with the Bosnian centre-back Enes Sipovic.

Sipovic joined Blasters in July 2021 on a one-year deal after leaving another ISL club Chennaiyin FC. He played a total of 17 matches for the Yellow Army during this one-year deal (including 11 starts), where he scored one goal against SC East Bengal during the last ISL season.

Though Blasters finished as the runners-up in the ISL 2021/22 season, there is no contract extension for Sipovic. The ISL club has confirmed his departure through their social media accounts.
